Dear Depressed and Anxious Student,

The Center for Access-Ability Resources or CARR office (753-1303) on campus is one place to start if you feel that your depression and anxiety affect your classroom functioning. CAAR provides advocacy and support services for persons with a variety of disabilities, including those that you describe. While you may want to talk to the CAAR office, you do not have to report your condition to anyone at the University. And, of course, if you are not already receiving counseling, you may seek our services to help you cope with your concerns. Medication and counseling are most beneficial in overcoming depression and anxiety. Barb Wired is glad you are addressing your condition as it is very treatable!
