Dear Student,
Thank you for writing to me about your concern regarding your difficulty taking tests. I am sorry that this has gotten worse for you this semester. I think you are asking about what documents you need in order to obtain assistance from the Center for Access-Ability Resources (CAAR) Office. As you may know, if you qualify for a disability under the guidelines provided by the CAAR Office, you may be eligible for accommodations regarding testing in your classes. In order to clarify what you need to do, and what documents you need to have, it would be best for you to speak directly with someone from the CAAR Office. I hope you will call them at 753-1303 to find out what you need to do in your specific situation. In addition, I want to make you aware of our Academic Coaching services here at the Counseling and Student Development Center (CSDC). This is a program designed to enhance student learning through study skill development. You can meet with our academic coaching staff member simply by calling 753-1206, or by coming to our office, 200 Campus Life Building, and requesting this assistance. I hope that I have understood your concern correctly. If I have not understood what you are asking, please contact me again so that I can get it right. And good luck with your studies this semester! Sincerely, Barb Wired |
