Room sizes vary for each of the different halls. If you know which hall you are going to be in, you can find the measurements and view sketches of the floor plans online via these links:
Lincoln Hall, Douglas Hall, Grant Towers, Stevenson Towers, and Neptune Hall.
Please view the online sketches for the overall dimensions of your room. We suggest that you wait until the day you move in to cut your rug to size.
The University supplies a bed, desk, chair, draperies, mattress, and a refrigerator/microwave/freezer. Each room is equipped with a telephone, dedicated Internet access, and cable TV/FM hookups. The telephone service includes many advanced features including voice mail, private long distance bills (you and your roommate receive separate bills), and a long list of additional options. You will need to provide sheets, pillows, pillow cases, a mattress pad, blankets, bedspread, towels, metal wastebasket, and other personal items. We recommend that you bring "extra long" twin-size fitted sheets or standard twin-size flat sheets for your bed, unless you are in a low-rise hall where standard fitted sheets will work.
