Room and board rates are calculated by determining the assigned room type and meal plan. Room types include single, double, triple, and suite. Rates are modest and competitive with those of major commercial long-distance companies. Students need to familiarize themselves with the rates and plan their calling accordingly. A student's phone bill is accessible only online. NIUTEL creates an online statement for each student (or apartment in the University Apartments complex).
A $50 per semester charge supports programs and services available to residents.
There is $62 per semester charge for all technology fees.
Within seven days after a bill is issued, students must pay for assessments for damages to their room and residence hall and for a prorated share of damages to areas of their residence hall that are not assignable to an individual.
