Belay Clinic

Learn basic skills that can help you safely belay your climbing partner.  Instruction will include rock climbing equipment use, knot tying, rope handling, belaying, safety, and various climbing techniques.

Details:

• The rate is $5.00 for NIU and non-NIU.
• Sign up in advance at the Outing Centre, first-come, first-served.
• Advance registration is REQUIRED.
• Registration deadline: The day before the posted date of the activity.
• There is a limit of 8 participants for this event.
• The minimum number of participants is 4 individuals.

On the day of the Activity:

Dress comfortably
Bring water and a snack
Arrive at about 6:15 p.m. - at the Outing Centre Lobby
Start by 6:30 p.m.
Finish by about 8:00 p.m.
