What are Sport Clubs?
  • The Sport Club program is designed to serve individual interests in different sports and recreational activities.
  • Participation in the program enhances and promotes the element of good sportsmanship, the development of skills, the well-being derived from physical activity, and the social aspect within each sport.
  • If competition is desired, opportunities exist in varying degrees within individual clubs.
  • Sport Clubs are organized and managed by students.
  • All clubs must be registered student organizations with the Student Association.

Form a Club
  • Can't find a sport that you want to join?
  • Do you want to form your own sport club?
  • It's easy!  Just follow these steps:
    • Meet with the Assistant Director of Intramural Sports / Sport Clubs.
      • Call Recreation Services at (815) 753-0231 to schedule an appointment.
    • Apply to be a registered student organization with the Student Association.
    • Complete Recreation Services Sport Club paperwork.
